Deluxe self-contained apartments on the Mosel River Germany - ideal for short or long stays, business or pleasure.

Explore the Continent near and far from your own comfy base in Zell an der Mosel, a vibrant traditional wine-maker town in the heart of Germany's Rhineland - and handy to N.E. France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Netherlands. Zell is conveniently located for travel by bus, river ferry, train, rental car and air.

Nearby Frankfurt-Hahn Airport offers low-cost flights to 50+ destinations and is the major German hub for Ryanair, Europe's biggest airline. A bus service to/from Hahn Airport runs past the house 9 x a day.

Our 5 renovated apartments (the house pictured) all look out to the Mosel and are just 2 minutes walk to the historic pedestrian precinct of Zell an der Mosel with its many wine cellars, cafes, restaurants, shops and the Zellerland regional tourism office (info in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian etc www.zellerland.de. There's much more of Zell online, including Youtube (search for 'Zell Mosel').

My Europe Base is Australian owned, commencing in early 2010. We bought the Zell house as our first location and we plan to connect further properties to create a small network of affordable long-stay accommodations in other attractive parts of Europe.

Long stay rates start from $200 AUD (140 Euro) a week in the winter season. Short stay rates start from 200 Euro a week in the winter season. Our keyholder and former owner Elspeth lives on site.
