DESTINATIONS DIRECT EX HAHN AIRPORT (HHN)
Fly like a European! My Europe Base apartments on the Mosel River are a local bus ride from Germany's Hahn Airport. On this page you can browse flight destinations from Hahn, attractions to see and places to travel on to. Just enough to get you started!
Consider flying to one point and travelling overland to by rail, bus or hire car to another, then flying back to Hahn. An added possibility is to fly on to further points before returning to Hahn.
Bus route 750, Hahn Airport to/from Zell, runs 7 days, takes 38 minutes and costs 6.50 EUR (in 2010): departs Hahn Airport, 200 m from Terminal: 0820, 1020, 1220, 1420, 1620, 1820, 2020, 2220, 0020 (arrives Zell ..58); departs Zell town centre (Lindenplatz stop, 400 m from My Europe Base) : 0327, 0527, 0727, 0927, 1127, 1327, 1527, 1727, 1927 (arrives airport ..05). OTHER CONVENIENT AIRPORTS: Frankfurt International (FRA) is just over 2 hours by rail from Zell (Bullay station) and Koln-Bonn (CGN) is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.

Return fares from Hahn Airport shown below represent the range in Euros from the cheapest pairing possible to a price point that covers most of the month's possible out-and-back match ups, including taxes but not credit card charges, surveyed for January 2011 as of 1st December 2010. In some cases all return matches were included in the range: for instance, the most expensive return combinations to Klagenfurt were 24 EUR and to Lleida near the Pyrenees 28 EUR. Airlines are Ryanair and Wizzair. Many times we clicked through to check if one of the lowest fares was still available and nearly every time the price was still valid. There may have been sales on – but with these airlines, there are sales happening most of the time!
There are no flights from Hahn to places less than one hour distant. However, it is possible to fly to many nearer points (and many more further) by way of one of the destinations below. To check, use www.skyscanner.net insert Hahn and your final destination airport (or the country) and it will show you possible convenient 2-hop flights, including fares, airlines, times and via point.
Both Ryanair and Wizzair have networks with many hub airports (like Hahn) and nearly all destination airports will offer direct flights back to a number of other hubs. Therefore travellers can easily create multiple stage journeys with a choice of 200+ airports.
